Manchester United continue their pre-season preparations on Saturday with a high-profile friendly against Paris Saint-Germain, and summer signing Youri Tielemans is in line to make his first appearance for the club.
The Belgian midfielder has now returned after an extended break following the 2026 World Cup and could feature for the first time under Michael Carrick.
Tielemans ready after World Cup break
Tielemans missed the early stages of pre-season after helping Belgium reach the World Cup quarter-finals.
Now back with the squad, the midfielder is expected to be included against PSG as Carrick continues building towards the new Premier League campaign.
However, several key players remain unavailable. Marcus Rashford, Kobbie Mainoo and Lisandro MartÃnez are still on their mandatory post-World Cup break, while Benjamin Å eÅ¡ko continues to recover from the shin injury that ended his previous season early.
Goalkeeper Altay Bayındır will also miss the match as he finalises a loan move to Celta Vigo.
Mbeumo to lead the attack
Bryan Mbeumo is expected to start after scoring twice in Manchester United's 2-1 victory over Atlético Madrid.
The forward could be joined in attack by Matheus Cunha, Amad Diallo and captain Bruno Fernandes, while youngster JJ Gabriel is pushing for more minutes after making his senior debut in the previous friendly.
