Chelsea could sanction the departures of three strikers before the transfer deadline, with Marc Guiu now closing in on an exit and Nicolas Jackson and Liam Delap also available.

Xabi Alonso is finalising his attacking options ahead of the new season, with João Pedro established as Chelsea's first-choice striker.

That has left Guiu, Jackson and Delap facing uncertain futures during what could be a busy final period of the summer window.

Guiu considering three transfer options

Guiu is currently weighing up three possible destinations, with interest arriving from clubs in Italy, Spain and Germany.

Napoli are among his suitors and are considering signing the 20-year-old permanently.

The Italian champions are already doing business with Chelsea for Benoît Badiashile and have also looked at Jackson. However, Chelsea's reported £65m valuation of the Senegal international has discouraged Napoli from pursuing that move.

Guiu would be considerably cheaper.

Chelsea signed him from Barcelona for just £5m in 2024, but he is now valued at around £25m. He scored three times in 16 appearances last season but struggled to establish himself.

A major indication about his future arrived when Chelsea did not give Guiu a squad number ahead of Monday's Premier League opener against Fulham.

Jackson and Delap also available

Chelsea are also prepared to sell Jackson and Delap if suitable offers arrive.

Jackson has attracted interest from several clubs, including Aston Villa and Atletico Madrid, although Villa are now particularly well positioned in the race for his signature.

Delap has a different group of suitors.

Everton, Nottingham Forest and former club Ipswich Town are all interested, while Como have also been linked with the 23-year-old.

Chelsea reportedly value Delap at £50m, despite him scoring only twice across all competitions last season. They paid Ipswich £30m for him last summer and are looking to make a profit, although Ipswich also hold a sell-on clause.

João Pedro now leading Chelsea attack

The potential departures underline João Pedro's growing importance at Stamford Bridge.

After an impressive first season following his arrival from Brighton, the Brazilian has been rewarded with an improved long-term contract and increased salary.

He has also taken Chelsea's No9 shirt, previously worn by Delap, who has switched to No12.

With João Pedro now leading Alonso's attack, Chelsea are ready to use the final days of the window to reduce the size of their squad and find solutions for the strikers further down the hierarchy.

What's Next?

Guiu appears the closest of Chelsea's three available strikers to leaving, but Jackson and Delap could also generate significant movement before the deadline as Chelsea continue reshaping Alonso's squad.

Which of Marc Guiu, Nicolas Jackson and Liam Delap should Chelsea keep this season?
