Bayern Munich are reportedly not preparing a move for Brighton defender Luka Vušković, despite the Croatian teenager's impressive start to life in the Premier League.
The 19-year-old joined Brighton from Tottenham Hotspur in July for a substantial fee, having attracted attention during a successful loan spell at Hamburg.
Bayern interest remains uncertain
According to reports attributed to Sky Deutschland, Bayern have no immediate plans to pursue Vušković.
The German champions were previously linked with the centre-back following his performances in the Bundesliga.
However, other German reports have suggested Bayern continue to monitor his development, meaning their longer-term intentions remain unclear.
No formal approach for the Brighton defender has been confirmed.
Vušković impresses after Tottenham exit
Brighton signed Vušković on 14 July, with reports placing the initial transfer fee at approximately €53 million, plus potential bonuses.
The Croatian made 30 appearances and scored six goals during his 2025–26 loan spell at Hamburg before completing his move to the Amex Stadium.
He has since established himself in Fabian Hürzeler's defence and expressed his appreciation for Brighton's confidence in him.
"I'm happy Brighton wanted me, that they saw me as part of their project," Vušković said in an interview published last month.
The defender also explained that Brighton's willingness to invest heavily in him provided additional motivation to repay the club's faith.
Brighton hold strong negotiating position
Vušković signed a five-year contract running until June 2031, with an option for another season.
That agreement gives Brighton considerable control over his future, particularly after their significant summer investment.
