Newcastle United are unlikely to sign Feyenoord winger Anis Hadj Moussa this summer after fresh reports dismissed claims that the Magpies have made an offer for the Algeria international.
The 24-year-old has attracted interest following an impressive campaign in the Eredivisie, with previous reports linking him to Newcastle because of head coach Matthias Jaissle's admiration for the player.
However, the latest information suggests there has been no formal approach from the Premier League club.
Agent yet to receive Newcastle offer
According to Maghreb-Foot, a source close to Hadj Moussa has rejected reports that Newcastle have opened negotiations or submitted a bid.
The source insisted the player's representative, Mohamed Dahmane, has not received any official proposal from the Magpies, describing the recent speculation as unfounded.
That backs up comments made by Newcastle sporting director Ross Wilson, who recently denied reports claiming an agreement had already been reached.
Winger still expected to leave
Although a move to St James’ Park appears unlikely, Hadj Moussa is still expected to leave Feyenoord before the transfer window closes.
Earlier this summer, Dahmane publicly stated that his client would be joining a new club, indicating the winger is preparing for a transfer.
| Stat (2025/26) | Anis Hadj Moussa |

While Jaissle is known to admire the Algerian after previously trying to sign him at Al-Ahli, there is currently no evidence that Newcastle are pursuing a deal.
