Aston Villa Yann Bisseck transfer talks are heating up as Inter Milan prepare to cash in on the 24-year-old. According to TuttoSport, Unai Emery’s side are among the Premier League clubs showing interest in the powerful German defender — and a €35m bid could be enough to seal the deal.

Bisseck has a €120m release clause, but Inter would accept far less to fund their pursuit of a new wing-back. The plan? Sell high, reinvest quickly.

Mixed 2024/25 Season Opens Door

Bisseck's campaign was full of contrasts. While he impressed in key moments — including against top opposition — his form was erratic, with high-profile mistakes hurting his standing under Simone Inzaghi.

Despite his raw potential, Inter believe now is the time to sell.

Inter Want Quick Capital Gain

The Italian giants signed Bisseck from AGF Aarhus for around €7m just a year ago. Offloading him for €35m would represent a tidy profit — a key motive behind their openness to letting him go.

There’s also a clear sense Inter are pushing him towards the Premier League, with Aston Villa one of the few clubs repeatedly named in Italian reports.

Villa Could Secure a Smart Depth Option

Unai Emery wants more depth for his defensive reinforcements that are still on the agenda. With European football on the horizon again, Bisseck — versatile and athletic — could serve as a long-term investment.

Defensive Stats Show Why Villa Are Interested

Here’s how Yann Bisseck stacks up against Serie A’s top centre-backs, Amir Rrahmani (Napoli) and Evan Ndicka (Roma), from the 2024/25 season:

Stat per 90ʼ Bisseck Rrahmani Ndicka
Tackles 1.06 1.20 1.18
Interceptions 0.88 1.10 1.05
Clearances 3.26 4.70 4.50
Pass Accuracy 93% 89% 92%
Clean sheets rate 44% (12/27)

Bisseck delivers strong tackling and ball progression similar to top-tier Serie A defenders, while offering elite passing and ball-playing ability — traits Villa value under Emery.

Analyst Verdict

Bisseck’s talent is clear, but the inconsistency has been costly. At €35m, Villa would be paying for potential more than guaranteed output. However, with proper coaching, he could evolve into a top-level Premier League defender. It’s a risk — but one worth considering.

Villa have been linked with a number of defenders, but they're not moving, I feel like they dont have the budget to buy players? Am I correct or just taking their time to get the best deals out?
