Tottenham go all out for Eli Junior Kroupi as De Zerbi pushes €100m move

Tottenham are reportedly ready to accelerate their pursuit of Bournemouth attacker Eli Junior Kroupi as Roberto De Zerbi pushes Spurs to beat Arsenal and other European giants to his signature.

The 20-year-old enjoyed an impressive debut Premier League season, scoring 13 goals despite playing only 1,683 minutes across 33 matches.

His performances have attracted Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona, but Tottenham are now described as the most persistent club in the race.

According to Sport, De Zerbi is enthusiastic about bringing Kroupi to north London and has urged Tottenham to speed up their pursuit.

Spurs are said to be determined to “go all out” for the France youth international as they attempt to move ahead of Arsenal and PSG.

Bournemouth insist Kroupi is not for sale and reportedly value him at around €100 million.

However, his suitors believe the Cherries could eventually sanction a transfer if a huge offer arrives.

Tottenham’s willingness to spend heavily this summer means they cannot be discounted, with De Zerbi personally pushing for the deal.

Arsenal remain interested in Kroupi, although their need to sign another striker is reportedly less urgent.

Barcelona have also identified the Bournemouth star as an alternative to Atlético Madrid forward Julián Álvarez. The Spanish champions are only expected to make a move if their pursuit of the Argentine fails.

PSG are another possible destination, although there are doubts over whether they will make a concrete approach after already strengthening their attack.

That could leave Tottenham with a major opportunity if Kroupi decides he wants to leave Bournemouth this summer.

Kroupi remains under contract until 2030 and Bournemouth want to offer him a new deal.

The Cherries are therefore in a strong negotiating position, but reports suggest the player’s wishes could become decisive.

Tottenham cannot offer Champions League football next season, unlike Arsenal, PSG and Barcelona.

However, De Zerbi’s determination to sign Kroupi and Spurs’ willingness to make him a major part of their project could strengthen their position.

Tottenham must now decide how far they are prepared to go to satisfy Bournemouth’s huge demands.

De Zerbi is pushing for Spurs to accelerate, but Arsenal and Europe’s biggest clubs remain in the race.

If Kroupi signals that he wants a move, Tottenham could quickly turn their strong interest into one of the biggest transfers of the summer.
