Manchester United and Chelsea are reportedly keeping a close watch on Club Brugge striker Nicolò Tresoldi, with growing Premier League interest potentially causing the highly-rated forward to reconsider his future in Belgium.

The Germany Under-21 international had previously agreed to remain at Club Brugge for another season, but fresh interest from some of Europe's biggest clubs could yet alter those plans.

Despite that, convincing the Belgian champions to sanction a sale is expected to be far from straightforward.

Premier League clubs monitoring situation

According to Het Laatste Nieuws, Manchester United and Chelsea are following Tresoldi's situation on a "day-to-day basis" after his outstanding breakthrough campaign.

The report adds that Serie A side Roma have already made their move by submitting a €35 million offer, while Real Madrid are also credited with an interest.

Tresoldi joined Club Brugge from Hannover 96 in the summer of 2025 and quickly established himself as one of the Belgian league's most dangerous forwards.

The 21-year-old scored 23 goals and provided nine assists in 53 appearances across all competitions last season.

Club Brugge determined to keep striker

Club Brugge remain adamant that Tresoldi is not for sale.

President Bart Verhaeghe has previously insisted the striker would stay at the club, even if a record-breaking offer arrived during the summer transfer window.

The player himself had also agreed to continue with the Belgian side before Premier League interest intensified.

However, Het Laatste Nieuws suggests the increasing attention from Manchester United, Chelsea and Roma could naturally influence the young striker's thinking, even though he has not attempted to force a transfer.

A recent missed penalty and below-par performance in a friendly against Rennes may simply have been an isolated off-day, but the report suggests the speculation surrounding his future cannot be ignored.

Arsenal also remain in the picture

Manchester United and Chelsea are not the only English clubs to have tracked Tresoldi.

Arsenal have been repeatedly linked with the striker in recent months, with sporting director Andrea Berta reportedly making contact with his representatives earlier this year.

The report also raises the possibility that Tresoldi's representatives could use the growing Premier League interest to negotiate an improved contract at Club Brugge, potentially including a release clause that would become active from 2027.

For now, however, Club Brugge remain determined to resist any attempts to prise away one of their most valuable assets.
