Nick Woltemade has no intention of leaving Newcastle United this summer after his agent dismissed reports suggesting the striker could depart on loan.
The Germany international remains committed to proving himself at St James' Park, while Newcastle are equally determined to keep hold of the 24-year-old ahead of the new Premier League season.
Agent rejects transfer rumours
Reports on Monday claimed Newcastle had given Woltemade permission to leave during the summer transfer window.
However, according to Sky Deutschland, the striker's agent Danny Bachmann has dismissed those claims, insisting the reports originated from "fake accounts".
The representative reportedly confirmed there are no discussions over a loan move, despite speculation circulating on social media.
Newcastle have no plans to sell
The report also states Newcastle sporting director Ross Wilson remains a strong admirer of the forward.
As a result, the Magpies have no intention of allowing Woltemade to leave, either permanently or on loan.
Manager Eddie Howe is expected to keep the striker as part of his first-team squad for the 2026/27 campaign.
Determined to succeed
Woltemade joined Newcastle from Stuttgart in the summer of 2025 in a deal reportedly worth €75 million plus bonuses.
The striker made a promising start to life in the Premier League before seeing his influence decline during the second half of last season.
He still finished his debut campaign with 11 goals and five assists in 51 appearances, while recently admitting he was disappointed with how the season ended.
Despite that frustration, the German has repeatedly insisted he believes he can establish himself as an important player at Newcastle.
Focused on the new season
According to the latest reports, Woltemade has returned for pre-season in excellent physical condition and has set ambitious personal targets for the year ahead.
With Newcastle's hierarchy and coaching staff continuing to place their trust in him, the striker is expected to remain under Eddie Howe's management throughout the coming campaign.
The latest update appears to bring an end to speculation surrounding his immediate future.
What's next?
Nick Woltemade is expected to remain at Newcastle United this season after both his agent and the club dismissed rumours of a summer exit. The striker will now focus on earning a bigger role under Eddie Howe during the 2026/27 campaign.
