In a recent interview with El Chiringuito TV, Huijsen admitted that he was flattered by links to Real Madrid, and revealed his admiration for Sergio Ramos and Carlo Ancelotti. "One of my close friends sent me a story about Real. He told me to go to Madrid!" "I don’t know, we’ll see. It’s a big team. Every player wants to play at the maximum level possible. I have a contract until 2030, I do have a clause."
Huijsen also spoke about his footballing idol:
"My idol? Ramos, since I was young. Ancelotti? He is a very good coach. He’s not at Madrid for nothing. He has his merit."

Bournemouth bracing for summer exits
Andoni Iraola, who has impressed in his first season as Cherries boss, is also being linked with a potential move away. With key players like Milos Kerkez and Antoine Semenyo also attracting interest, Bournemouth could be heading into a major squad reshuffle this summer.
