Everton, Aston Villa and Leeds United are all monitoring Lyon midfielder Pavel Šulc ahead of a potential move before the transfer window closes.
According to But! Football Club, the Czech international has attracted growing interest from the Premier League after an impressive first season in France, although none of the three clubs have submitted an official offer.
Premier League interest growing
Leeds United have followed Šulc for several months and remain interested after increasing their scouting efforts earlier this summer.
Everton and Aston Villa have also made enquiries over the 25-year-old, although it remains unclear whether those approaches were made to Lyon, the player's representatives or both.
With Aston Villa set to compete in the Champions League this season, Unai Emery's side could hold an advantage if the race for the attacking midfielder intensifies.
Strong debut season at Lyon
Šulc joined Lyon from Viktoria Plzeň in 2025 after spending his entire career in Czech football.
The attacking midfielder quickly adapted to Ligue 1, registering 11 goals and three assists in the league while also contributing one goal and three assists in the Europa League.
Despite missing part of pre-season through injury, the Czech international remains highly regarded by Lyon.
Fonseca acknowledges transfer interest
Lyon manager Paulo Fonseca admitted the midfielder's performances have not gone unnoticed.
"We know that Pavel had a great season last season and that he's a player other clubs are watching."
Šulc remains under contract until 2029, while his market value is estimated at around €20 million.
