Inter remain interested in Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jone

Inter Milan remain keen on signing Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones this summer, with reports suggesting the England international is still eager to make the move to San Siro despite the Reds' €40 million valuation.

The Serie A giants are simultaneously closing in on the signing of former Manchester City defender John Stones, with the two England internationals potentially becoming teammates in Milan.

According to reports from Italy, Jones has not given up on joining Inter this summer.

The Liverpool midfielder reportedly fuelled speculation by liking a social media post relating to John Stones' imminent arrival at the club, adding further intrigue to his own transfer situation.

Despite new Liverpool manager Andoni Iraola publicly praising the 25-year-old, Jones is still believed to favour a move to the Nerazzurri.

Jones remains under contract at Liverpool until June 2027, putting the Premier League champions in a strong negotiating position.

The Reds are reportedly demanding around €40 million to sanction his departure.

That valuation now leaves Inter facing a significant decision over how to allocate their remaining transfer budget this summer.

While Jones remains a priority target, Inter are also considering strengthening other areas of the squad.
