Crystal Palace have had a £35 million bid rejected by Inter for German defender Yann Bisseck, according to Tuttomercato.
Inter’s stance is clear — they are not looking to sell the 24-year-old this summer, with new coach Cristian Chivu eager to continue developing his game in Serie A.
Why Inter Are Holding Firm
Bisseck played a key role last season and remains part of Inter’s long-term defensive plans. Chivu is said to be confident the former Köln man can raise his level even further in the coming campaign.
However, Tuttomercato suggest that an improved offer exceeding £40m could be difficult for the Nerazzurri to turn down, particularly if it arrives late in the window.
“Inter believe Bisseck can grow into one of Europe’s top defenders, but a huge offer always changes the dynamics,” report Tuttomercato.

Analyst Verdict
Palace clearly rate Bisseck highly, and with Oliver Glasner pushing for defensive reinforcements, their willingness to spend big makes sense. But given Inter’s position, this may require a record outlay for the Eagles — or a shift in the Italian club’s priorities.
Key Insights

What’s Next?
Unless Palace return quickly with a significantly higher bid, Inter are expected to keep Bisseck in Milan. But as deadline day nears, big-money offers could change the picture.
Should Palace break the £40m barrier for Bisseck — or move on to alternative targets?

40M is too much, I think Palace wants that for Guehi - this just doenst make sense, but I do believe its still a good fit tbh.
