Chelsea to sell Noni Madueke in 2025? The Blues aren’t actively shopping the England international, but a quiet shift in stance could open the door to the first major exit of the Enzo Maresca era — and several Premier League rivals are watching closely.

Madueke, who recorded 16 goal contributions last season, played a prominent role in Chelsea’s attacking rebuild under Maresca. But with the 2026 World Cup in his sights and other clubs showing interest, these next few weeks could prove decisive for both club and player.

Could Madueke Be Maresca’s First Major Sale?

Chelsea publicly maintain that Madueke is not for sale. But multiple sources suggest the club would be open to offers if the valuation is met — especially if it means clearing space for a new wide signing.

“Noni is our player,” said Maresca. “You can read a lot of speculation, but we consider Noni our player for the coming season.” — Enzo Maresca

That may still prove true. But in the background, top-six clubs sense an opportunity.

Premier League Rivals Line Up for Madueke

Arsenal, Tottenham, and Newcastle are all said to be monitoring the situation. Arsenal, in particular, are looking to provide cover and competition for Bukayo Saka, and Madueke’s two-footed versatility makes him a strong tactical fit.

Chelsea’s recent transfer history with rivals also makes the move plausible: Raheem Sterling spent last season on loan at Arsenal, while Kepa Arrizabalaga also made the switch.

Chelsea Eye Replacements as Options Open

Chelsea are already scouring the market for wide options. Borussia Dortmund’s Jamie Bynoe-Gittens is a top target, while Palmeiras prodigy Estêvão Willian is expected to join after the Club World Cup. There’s also interest in a right-footed left winger following Jadon Sancho’s loan departure.

If the club land their key targets, Chelsea to sell Noni Madueke in 2025 could go from possibility to reality.

  • Chelsea could sell Madueke if right offer arrives
  • Arsenal, Spurs, Newcastle all monitoring situation
  • Winger had 16 goal contributions last season
  • Chelsea chasing Bynoe-Gittens, Estêvão
  • 2026 World Cup chances add pressure for regular starts

What’s Next for Madueke and Chelsea?

With Maresca keen to streamline his squad and Madueke needing consistent minutes to make England’s 2026 World Cup squad, a summer exit — while not actively pursued — remains on the table.

For Chelsea, this could be a turning point in how Maresca’s reign takes shape. For Madueke, it could be a make-or-break career decision.

Should Chelsea cash in now or back Madueke for another season?

Why would you leave Chelsea for any of those clubs? He won’t start for Arsenal…

He's only 23, we aint selling him (hope so). With Estevao coming in it doesn't mean that we won't use Madueke, we dont have wingers. There's only Neto and Madeuke, yes Estevao could play in that role as well. They can have Sterling.
