Bournemouth manager Marco Rose has revealed that Junior Kroupi could return against Manchester United on Sunday after recovering from a foot injury.
The French forward has not played competitively this season following surgery during the summer, but has now resumed full first-team training.
Rose plans Kroupi return at Old Trafford
Speaking at Friday's press conference, Rose confirmed he hopes to include Kroupi in the travelling squad.
"It's the plan to take him with us to Manchester, and to give him some minutes," the Bournemouth manager confirmed.
Rose also praised the youngster's attitude and ability while stressing the importance of managing his comeback.
"He's a special player. We have to take care of him and he has to take care of his next steps," Rose added.
Kroupi's return would strengthen Bournemouth's attacking options after three consecutive victories in all competitions.
Tóth suffers injury setback against Milan
However, Bournemouth face a fresh concern over Alex Tóth following Thursday's 3–0 Europa League victory against AC Milan.
The Hungarian midfielder was substituted just 15 minutes after coming on, having apparently suffered a hamstring injury.
"We have to assess the injury, but it looks like a hamstring injury and maybe we miss him a little bit longer," Rose explained.
Tóth could face several weeks on the sidelines, although the precise recovery period remains uncertain.
Alex Scott and Julián Araujo are also unavailable through injury.
Key Points
