Arsenal lower Gabriel Jesus asking price as AC Milan lead transfer race

Arsenal have reportedly lowered their asking price for Gabriel Jesus as speculation over the Brazilian striker's future continues to gather pace ahead of the new season.

The revised valuation represents a drop from previous reports that suggested the Gunners were seeking closer to €30 million, although Milan are still hoping to negotiate a lower fee.

Despite placing a price on the striker, Arsenal are not actively pushing him towards the exit and would only sanction a move if all parties reach an agreement.

Milan are reported to be the club making the strongest push for Gabriel Jesus and are working to strike a deal with Arsenal below the current asking price.

Only after that period does he reportedly intend to return to Palmeiras and finish his career with his boyhood club.

For now, his future appears far more likely to remain in Europe, with Serie A emerging as the most probable destination if he leaves North London this summer.

Negotiations between Arsenal and AC Milan are expected to continue as the Italian club attempt to reduce the transfer fee.
