Arsenal reportedly sent representatives to watch RB Leipzig winger Antonio Nusa against Manchester City as interest grows in the Norwegian international ahead of the summer 2027 transfer window.
The 21-year-old has registered six goals and seven assists in 14 appearances this season, attracting attention from several Premier League clubs.
According to German newspaper BILD, Leipzig could demand up to €80million (£69million) for the winger, although a January departure is considered unlikely.
Arsenal scouts watch Nusa against Manchester City
BILD reports that an Arsenal delegation attended Leipzig's Champions League meeting with Manchester City on Wednesday specifically to assess Nusa.
The Norwegian scored during Leipzig's 3-2 defeat, taking his season tally to 13 goal contributions across all competitions.
That already matches his best return from a previous campaign, with Leipzig reportedly targeting 20 contributions this season.
Mikel Arteta is said to admire Nusa's tactical discipline, versatility and athleticism.
Arsenal had previously explored a potential deal during the summer and remain among his most persistent admirers.
Premier League clubs competing for Leipzig winger
Liverpool, Tottenham, Newcastle United, Aston Villa and Crystal Palace are also reportedly monitoring Nusa.
Bayern Munich have additionally been linked with the player, increasing the prospect of competition for his signature.
However, no formal Arsenal offer has been confirmed.
Nusa joined Leipzig from Club Brugge in 2024 and remains under contract until 2029.
His improved attacking output has strengthened Leipzig's position ahead of any future negotiations.
RB Leipzig reluctant to approve January transfer
Leipzig reportedly value Nusa between €60million and €80million for next summer.
The Bundesliga club are unwilling to sanction a January departure unless an exceptional offer arrives.
Reports also suggest Leipzig could seek approximately €100million in transfer revenue during 2027, potentially making Nusa a major outgoing transfer.
Nevertheless, that financial target does not guarantee the Norwegian will be sold.
