Manchester City are set to welcome Allan Elias to England on Thursday, with the Palmeiras winger’s flight now booked ahead of completing his transfer to the Premier League.
Before travelling to Manchester, the 22-year-old will receive an official farewell from Palmeiras and their supporters on Wednesday evening.
Allan will not feature in the Copa do Brasil quarter-final against Santos, meaning his playing career with the Brazilian club has already come to an end.
Allan booked to fly to Manchester on Thursday
There had previously been some uncertainty over whether Allan would travel on Wednesday or Thursday.
That has now been resolved, with ESPN Brazil reporting that Allan is booked to fly to Manchester on Thursday, August 27.
Once he arrives in England, the Brazilian is expected to complete the remaining formalities before officially signing for Manchester City.
His final Palmeiras appearance came in Sunday's 4-1 victory over Vasco da Gama.
After the match, Allan embraced his teammates before returning to the pitch with his family for photographs. With his City transfer now approaching completion, that proved to be his final appearance for the club.
Palmeiras arrange special farewell for Allan
Although Allan will not play against Santos on Wednesday, he is expected to be present at the Nubank Parque.
Palmeiras president Leila Pereira will personally pay tribute to the academy graduate shortly before kick-off, allowing supporters to say goodbye before his move to England.
It brings an emotional conclusion to Allan's time with Palmeiras after progressing through the club's youth system and establishing himself in Abel Ferreira's first team.
The winger departs having registered nine goals and 12 assists across 96 senior appearances.
Manchester City deal could rise beyond €40m
Manchester City have agreed to pay €37.5m (£32.4m) guaranteed for Allan.
A further €2.5m (£2.2m) in achievable bonuses is connected to the Brazilian being included in City's squad for 20 matches, potentially taking the deal relatively quickly to €40m (£34.6m).
Palmeiras own 90% of Allan's economic rights.
There are additional performance-related bonuses included in the agreement, although their exact value has not been confirmed.
Journalist Bruno Andrade suggested they could potentially be worth another €5-7m (£4.3-6.1m), but stressed that was his estimate rather than a confirmed part of the transfer figures.
Allan is set to sign a five-year Manchester City contract until June 2031, with City holding an option to extend the agreement for another season.
