Manor Solomon’s agent addresses West Ham interest as Tottenham exit nears

Manor Solomon's agent has admitted the Tottenham Hotspur winger is unlikely to establish himself as a regular starter under Roberto De Zerbi, with West Ham United emerging as one of the leading contenders for his signature.

The Israel international returned to Spurs this summer after loan spells with Leeds United, Villarreal and Fiorentina, but a permanent departure now appears increasingly likely.

West Ham's interest first emerged at the end of July, and Solomon's representatives have now openly discussed the player's future, suggesting England remains his most probable destination.

Speaking to Sport5, Solomon's agent Shlomi Ben Ezra admitted his client wants regular first-team football after spending recent seasons away from north London.

"Manor isn't expected to be a starter at Tottenham, at least not in the near future," Ben Ezra said.

"If I were a Tottenham player, I'd also aim to join a club where I'd be in the starting lineup. That's the goal.

"A player's career is short, and after eight years in Europe, Manor wants to make an impact."

The agent also defended the winger's performances during his recent loan spell in Italy.

"He was also quite successful last year at Fiorentina, aside from a month and a half of bad luck and injury. I'm sure he'll continue; he just needs the spot he deserves."

While refusing to discuss the details of Tottenham's asking price, Ben Ezra spoke positively about West Ham and their history with Israeli players.

"West Ham are a huge club; Yossi Benayoun and Eyal Berkovic were there too," he said.

"I think that at 27, he's already at an age where he has experience, and there's a consensus about Manor.

"Many teams like him because he's a good player and a good person."

Although West Ham are regarded as strong contenders, Ben Ezra confirmed there are multiple clubs interested in signing the winger.

The agent believes Solomon's next move will almost certainly keep him in the Premier League.

"As you're reading, seeing and reporting, Manor is in high demand this summer," he added.

"We'll see what happens in the coming days.

"Manor wants to play and be a key player. I believe that will happen in the coming days.

"I believe he'll be playing in England next year. It's very likely."

When asked about Tottenham's valuation of the player, Ben Ezra declined to reveal any details.

"We'll leave that to the negotiations."

With Solomon's representatives openly acknowledging that his future lies away from Tottenham, negotiations are expected to intensify over the coming days.

West Ham remain among the clubs pushing to secure his signature, although Spurs will need to agree a fee before any permanent transfer can be completed.
