Nottingham Forest eye Maurício as Palmeiras expect €25m offer

Nottingham Forest are reportedly interested in Palmeiras attacking midfielder Maurício after his impressive performances for Paraguay at the World Cup.

The 25-year-old has attracted attention from Europe in recent months, with Forest now among the clubs monitoring his situation.

Palmeiras are aware of the growing interest and reportedly expect an offer worth between €22 million (£19m) and €25m (£21.6m) before considering a sale.

Maurício recently became a naturalised Paraguayan citizen and represented the country at the 2026 World Cup.

His creativity, movement and composure in the final third helped increase his profile at a crucial point in the transfer window.

Maurício has also delivered consistently at club level. He has four goals and two assists in 30 appearances this season after recording 10 goals and 11 assists across 53 matches in 2025.

Those numbers show why Palmeiras believe they can demand more than €20m for his signature.
