Manor Solomon could be set for a surprise Leeds return, as Tottenham reportedly prepare to slash their asking price. Spurs boss Thomas Frank omitted Solomon when naming Son Heung-min replacements.
Leeds United have reignited hopes of signing Manor Solomon on a permanent deal — after the Israeli winger was snubbed by Thomas Frank during Tottenham’s pre-season media duties.
The 26-year-old was instrumental in Leeds’ 100-point promotion campaign, notching 10 goals and 13 assists in 41 appearances. But after returning to Spurs this summer, hopes of a deal appeared over.
That may now change.
Tottenham Ready to Sell — Below £20m
Transfer insider Graeme Bailey now reports that Tottenham are open to letting Solomon leave, and could accept a fee under the original £20m valuation.
“I think it’s going to become apparent to Solomon that he’s not really part of Spurs’ plans,” Bailey told LeedsUnitedNews.
“He would cost probably a bit less than £20m.”
The biggest signal came from Thomas Frank himself — who didn’t even mention Solomon when discussing replacements for Son Heung-min, who has asked to leave this summer.
Frank’s Comments Spark Leeds Belief
Speaking to the press in Seoul, Frank named Brennan Johnson, Wilson Odobert and Mathys Tel as internal options to replace Son — but made no reference to Solomon, despite a strong pre-season camp.
“Other players have a chance to shine. Brennan Johnson, Wilson Odobert and Mathys Tel are all options,” said Thomas Frank. — via Spurs Korea tour
That omission has reportedly given Daniel Farke fresh confidence that a deal can be revived — especially with Tottenham also chasing Alejandro Garnacho and Xavi Simons, who would eat into Solomon’s minutes.

Leeds Still Targeting Four More Signings
According to The Athletic’s Beren Cross, Leeds still want four more additions before the window closes — including a full-back, a striker, and two attacking midfielders.
The club remains in the market for:
- A full-back to replace Isaac Schmidt
- A central striker — with strong interest in Rodrigo Muniz
- Two wide forwards or attacking mids — Solomon is back on the list
Cross said Leeds are willing to spend up to £80m more if the right players become available.
Analyst Verdict
Solomon is Premier League ready, proven in Leeds' system, and could arrive for a cut-price fee. His ability to play both flanks, link play and score goals make him a perfect fit for Farke’s front three. With Frank’s snub clear, Leeds now have the green light to push the deal over the line.
Key Takeaways
- Leeds back in for Manor Solomon
- Tottenham ready to sell for under £20m
- Thomas Frank snubs Solomon in Son replacement talk
- Farke still wants four more signings
- 49ers ownership still willing to spend £70–80m
What’s Next?
Leeds are monitoring the Solomon situation closely and could make a formal approach this week. With Tottenham clearing squad space and the 49ers still willing to invest, this deal could gather momentum quickly.
Farke remains focused on attacking reinforcements — and Solomon’s return is now firmly back on the table.

I wanted him already back when we won the championship. For a second I had him and paixao in my mind, but never mind. Will take Solomon now - just 20M is more than enough! He has been brilliant for Leeds
