Torino remain confident over Lucas Perri transfer despite Leeds United delay

Torino remain confident they will complete the signing of Lucas Perri from Leeds United despite the transfer being delayed by a chain reaction in the goalkeeper market.

The Serie A club have identified the Brazilian as their priority target between the posts and, despite the lack of an official announcement, believe the deal is only being held up by transfers elsewhere in Europe.

According to Foot Mercato, Torino have already reached an agreement in principle with all parties and remain fully confident the move will be completed.

The report claims the framework of the transfer has already been agreed, with Perri expected to join Torino on an initial loan deal with an option to buy.

While some administrative details still need to be finalised, Torino's hierarchy reportedly have no concerns over the outcome of the negotiations.

Internally, the Italian club view the transfer as effectively agreed and are simply waiting for other deals to fall into place.
