Liverpool manager Andoni Iraola has refused to rule out the return of Alexander Isak, Cody Gakpo and Dominik Szoboszlai for Saturday's Premier League clash with Brentford.
All three players missed Wednesday's 6-3 Champions League victory over LASK Linz, but Iraola has suggested they could still recover in time for the trip to west London.
The Reds will assess their fitness in training on Friday before making a final decision.
Iraola leaves door open for Liverpool trio
Liverpool have been without Isak and Gakpo since the extended international break after both forwards suffered injuries while representing their countries.
Isak has been dealing with a thigh problem, while Gakpo sustained an ankle injury.
Szoboszlai, meanwhile, developed a hamstring issue after returning from international duty with Hungary.
The midfielder subsequently missed Liverpool's 3-0 Premier League defeat against Manchester City and remained unavailable for the midweek trip to Austria.
Speaking at Thursday's press conference, Iraola confirmed that none of the three players had been ready to face LASK but declined to rule them out against Brentford.
"It's early for us to say, we have to train tomorrow," the Liverpool boss explained.
"They were not ready [to play against LASK] so we have to wait and see. Early but like I said they were not ready for previous games, I leave the chance open."
Liverpool await fitness decisions ahead of Brentford
Liverpool responded to their defeat against Manchester City with an entertaining Champions League victory in Austria.
Bradley Barcola scored a hat-trick against LASK, while young forward Lewis Koumas also impressed with a goal and an assist.
Those performances provided encouragement for Iraola, although the potential return of Isak, Gakpo and Szoboszlai would offer additional attacking and midfield options.
With Brentford in strong form, Liverpool will be hoping to have as many senior players available as possible.
