Arsenal and Chelsea Boosted as Bayer Leverkusen Stand Firm on Kerim Alajbegović

Arsenal and Chelsea could be presented with the chance to sign highly-rated Kerim Alajbegović this summer, with Bayer Leverkusen reportedly refusing to lower their asking price for the teenage attacker.

The Bosnia international has attracted interest from several clubs following an impressive campaign with Salzburg and his performances at the FIFA World Cup, but negotiations with Atalanta have stalled over the transfer fee.

With Serie A clubs struggling to meet Leverkusen's valuation, Premier League sides could now be in a stronger position.
