According to reports in Germany, Kaiserslautern’s agreement for Ji-Soo Kim included a mandatory purchase option tied to promotion to the Bundesliga. However, with the club sitting seventh and well outside the promotion places, that condition is unlikely to be met.

They currently trail league leaders Schalke by 15 points, while also falling significantly behind second and third place, making a late push improbable. As a result, the loan is expected to conclude without a permanent deal.
