Iliman Ndiaye’s father dismisses Al-Hilal rumours with Everton future message

Iliman Ndiaye's father has played down speculation linking the Everton forward with a lucrative move to Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal, insisting his son has no intention of leaving Goodison Park this summer.

The Senegal international has been heavily linked with Al-Hilal in recent days, with reports claiming the Saudi club are willing to offer Everton more than £70 million and hand the 26-year-old a contract worth around £270,000 per week.

However, Ndiaye's father, Mouhamadou Abdoulaye Ndiaye, has dismissed the rumours and says the forward remains fully committed to his future on Merseyside.

Speaking to Wiw Sport, Ndiaye's father revealed he even joked with his son about the growing speculation before receiving a clear response.

"Many people called me to tell me that Iliman was going to leave. But rest assured, he's not going anywhere."

He explained that the pair laughed about the reports during a phone conversation.

"He called me this morning. I even teased him with a few words in Arabic, and we had a good laugh. He let me know he had no intention of going to Saudi Arabia."

The comments provide a significant boost for David Moyes as Everton continue preparing for the new Premier League season.

Despite the financial package reportedly available in Saudi Arabia, Ndiaye's father believes his son remains focused on competing at the highest level rather than securing the biggest contract.

"He knows he can earn a lot of money there, but he also thinks his level could drop. He's not the type to prioritise money over his career."

Those comments suggest the Everton forward remains determined to continue playing in one of Europe's top leagues while developing his career.

Ndiaye's father also outlined the ambitious targets driving the forward at both club and international level.

According to him, the former Sheffield United attacker wants to continue improving with Everton while helping Senegal challenge for major honours in the coming years.

He revealed Ndiaye's long-term ambitions include winning another Africa Cup of Nations, lifting the FIFA World Cup with Senegal and one day competing for the Ballon d'Or.

Those aspirations underline why the 26-year-old is reportedly reluctant to leave elite European football despite the financial incentives on offer elsewhere.

For Everton, retaining one of their most influential attacking players would represent an important boost as Moyes looks to build a more competitive squad ahead of the new campaign.
