Manchester United target €50m Juventus star Francisco Conceicao

Manchester United are reportedly preparing a move for Juventus winger Francisco Conceicao, with Michael Carrick identifying the Portugal international as a key attacking target.

According to The Guardian, the Red Devils are interested in bringing the former Ajax winger to Old Trafford this summer, with Juventus valuing the 23-year-old at around €50 million.

Conceicao enjoyed an impressive campaign in Turin and has emerged as one of the club's most valuable assets.

The report claims Carrick is a strong admirer of Conceicao and believes the winger would add creativity and pace to Manchester United's attack.

The Portuguese international established himself as a regular starter for Juventus last season after completing a permanent move from FC Porto in 2025.

Juventus paid €32 million to sign Conceicao and could now make a significant profit if Manchester United meet their asking price.

Conceicao spent a brief spell at Ajax earlier in his career but struggled to establish himself in the Eredivisie, making just 19 league appearances before returning to Portugal.

Since then, the winger has rebuilt his reputation, earning a regular place at Juventus and becoming a full Portugal international.

He was also part of Portugal's squad at the recent FIFA World Cup, featuring mainly as a substitute.

Conceicao is not the only player Manchester United are pursuing before the transfer window closes.

The Guardian adds that Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott also remains a priority target, with United reportedly ahead of Chelsea in the race for the England Under-21 international.

United are expected to step up their recruitment efforts once Conceicao returns from his summer break.
