Crystal Palace eye €40m Randal Kolo Muani transfer

Crystal Palace are reportedly showing interest in a €40m move for Randal Kolo Muani after Paris Saint-Germain opened the door to other buyers.

The 27-year-old spent last season on loan at Tottenham Hotspur, but his spell in north London did not convince Spurs to pursue a permanent deal.

Kolo Muani has now returned to PSG, where he remains outside the club’s plans. Juventus are still his preferred destination, but delays in negotiations have pushed the French champions to consider other options.

According to Foot Mercato, Palace are among several clubs contacted about a possible summer transfer.

PSG believed they had an agreement worth around €40m with Juventus at the end of June, but the deal has failed to progress.

The French club are reportedly frustrated by the delays and do not want another prolonged transfer saga. Juventus’ financial limitations have now led PSG to remove their priority and open discussions elsewhere.

Crystal Palace, Aston Villa and Borussia Dortmund are among the clubs showing interest.

However, it remains unclear whether Palace would be prepared to spend €40m on a striker after already investing heavily in Jorgen Strand Larsen during the January transfer window.

Any serious move could also depend on the future of Jean-Philippe Mateta.

Kolo Muani reportedly still wants to return to Juventus, where he previously enjoyed a more successful spell.

PSG’s decision to contact other clubs may therefore be designed partly to put pressure on the Italian side to raise the necessary funds.

The situation leaves Palace as a potential alternative rather than the clear frontrunner. The Eagles have shown interest, but no formal offer has been reported.

Kolo Muani’s difficult loan spell at Tottenham may also raise questions over the size of PSG’s €40m valuation.

Juventus now face pressure to accelerate negotiations before PSG move forward with another club.

Palace must decide whether Kolo Muani is worth a €40m investment, with any move potentially linked to Mateta’s future. For now, the Eagles are interested, but Juventus remain central to the striker’s preferred plans.
