Liverpool reach agreement in principle with Bradley Barcola

Liverpool have received a major boost in their pursuit of Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola after the France international gave his approval in principle to a move to Anfield.

According to L'Equipe, Barcola has informed PSG that he does not intend to extend his current contract, which expires in June 2028, opening the door for Liverpool to intensify negotiations with the French champions.

While the player has made his preference clear, a transfer remains dependent on the two clubs reaching an agreement over a fee.

Liverpool have identified Barcola as one of their priority attacking targets this summer as they continue reshaping their forward line.

The Ligue 1 side are now prepared to consider Barcola's departure after previously resisting the idea, although they remain determined to maximise the transfer fee.
