Tottenham and Everton prepare fresh moves for Galatasaray star Barış Alper Yılmaz

Tottenham Hotspur and Everton are preparing official offers for Galatasaray winger Barış Alper Yılmaz as the race for the Turkey international gathers pace.

According to Türkiye, both Premier League clubs have already made verbal approaches for the 26-year-old, while Galatasaray are willing to consider a sale if their valuation is met.

The Turkish champions are reportedly demanding €50 million after rejecting Everton's opening €35 million bid earlier this summer.

The report states that Yılmaz dreams of playing in the Premier League but has no intention of forcing a move.

Instead, the winger has left the decision in Galatasaray's hands, with the club expected to determine whether any future offers are acceptable.

Tottenham have now joined Everton in pursuing the versatile attacker, although it remains unclear whether their initial contact was made with Galatasaray, the player's representatives or both.

Yılmaz has less than two years remaining on his contract, but Galatasaray are refusing to lower their asking price.

The Turkish champions are believed to value the winger at €50 million, while his former club, Ankara Keçiörengücü, are entitled to 20 per cent of any future transfer fee through a sell-on clause.

The report adds that both Tottenham and Everton are expected to make concrete moves within the next 10 days.

Galatasaray are reportedly planning to reinvest part of any transfer income into strengthening their own squad, although a proposed move for AC Milan forward Rafael Leão is understood to be complicated.

Everton are expected to return with an improved offer, while Tottenham are preparing to formalise their interest. Galatasaray will continue assessing proposals over the coming days, with the Turkish club unlikely to sanction a sale unless their €50 million valuation is met.
