Wolverhampton Wanderers 4–2 Tottenham Hotspur
Wolves took a major step toward Premier League survival with a thrilling 4-2 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at Molineux, handing Spurs their 17th league defeat of the season and further intensifying pressure on manager Ange Postecoglou.

The Australian boss made six changes following their 1-1 draw against Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League, and his reshuffled side were punished immediately.

Rayan Ait-Nouri fired Wolves ahead inside two minutes, smashing home after Guglielmo Vicario failed to clear a high ball. Wolves doubled their lead just before the break in comical fashion — Vicario pushed Marshall Munetsi’s header onto Djed Spence, who deflected it into his own net.

Spurs pulled one back in the 59th minute when Mathys Tel pounced at the back post after a failed clearance by Nelson Semedo. But Wolves responded almost immediately, with Ait-Nouri skipping past Cristian Romero and laying off for Jorgen Strand Larsen, who tapped in his fourth goal in four games.

Though Richarlison added a late goal in the 86th minute after a rebound off the bar, it was Matheus Cunha who sealed the win in stoppage time. After Lucas Bergvall lost possession, the Brazilian raced clear and coolly slotted home.

Wolves now sit 16th, 14 points above the drop zone, while Tottenham remain 15th in what’s becoming a disastrous domestic campaign.
