Fulham have struck a £22m agreement with Chelsea to sign 19-year-old winger Tyrique George. The deal includes a sell-on clause and a five-year contract for the England youth international.
Fulham have pulled off one of the most eye-catching deadline day deals by agreeing a £22m package with Chelsea for highly-rated winger Tyrique George.
The 19-year-old has agreed personal terms on a five-year contract and has been given permission by Chelsea to complete his Fulham medical. Journalist David Ornstein reports the deal also contains a future sell-on clause, ensuring Chelsea retain financial interest should George’s value rise.
Fulham’s Ambitious Deadline Day
Fulham have been looking to inject more youth and creativity into their attack, and George’s signing is a clear statement of intent. A versatile winger, he can operate on either flank and is seen as one of the most exciting young English talents to come through Chelsea’s academy in recent years.

George is set to be integrated immediately into Marco Silva’s plans, with Fulham hoping his creativity can lift their attack to another level.

Analyst Verdict
FootballPlace analyst John William said:
“This is a smart signing by Fulham. Tyrique George is raw but has pace, end product and the confidence to take on defenders. He’s exactly the type of wide player Marco Silva’s system thrives on.”
He added:
“For Chelsea, inserting a sell-on clause is smart business — they avoid losing him outright while banking a healthy £22m fee. For Fulham, it’s about giving him time to adjust but the upside here is very high.”

I’ve seen the game, he even played out of position. You frauds were lucky, but this is a good signing from Fulham. I assume that a deal with that Milan guy is off now? Anyways, you’re right about Silva getting the best out of his player.
