Tottenham Roony Bardghji transfer 2025 talks are heating up as Spurs step up their pursuit of the FC Copenhagen winger. With Manchester City also interested, Tottenham believe they have a key edge: Bardghji’s strong bond with fellow Swede Lucas Bergvall.
Bardghji, 19, is out of contract at the end of the 2024/25 season and unlikely to renew with Copenhagen. Despite suffering an ACL injury in 2024, the winger remains a highly rated talent and could be available at a cut-price fee this summer. Tottenham are reportedly preparing a bid, seeing Bardghji as an ideal addition to their wide options alongside Brennan Johnson and Dejan Kulusevski.
According to GiveMeSport, Spurs hope Bardghji’s relationship with Bergvall—who joined the club from Djurgardens for £8.5m last year—will tilt the balance in their favour. The duo have played together for Sweden’s U21 side, and Tottenham are counting on this connection to seal the deal.
