According to sources from GIVEMESPORT, Southampton is considering Danny Rohl, currently the manager of Sheffield Wednesday, and Liam Rosenior, currently at Strasbourg, as the most likely candidates to replace Ivan Juricnext season.

Juric, who was appointed in December after the departure of Russell Martin, has been unable to turn around Southampton's fortunes. Following a poor run of results, it seems almost certain that Southampton will be relegated to the Championship. Sources suggest that any parting of ways would be completely amicable, with Juric fully aware that there was no guarantee he would remain at Southampton if they dropped down to the second tier.

The report indicates that Danny Rohl, who was an assistant manager under Ralph Hasenhuttl at Southampton, was close to getting the job before Juric's appointment. However, Rohl remained at Sheffield Wednesday, where he has been instrumental in guiding the team, which still has a chance of finishing in the Championship play-offs. The 35-year-old coach is highly regarded for his "elite" coaching background, and sources claim that Rohl could be open to a move to Southampton, particularly if both teams find themselves in the Championship next season. Rohl has a release clause in his contract worth up to £5 million, and Southampton's parent company, Sport Republic, is willing to meet that clause to bring him to the south coast.

In addition to Rohl, Liam Rosenior has also emerged as a strong contender for the Southampton job. Rosenior, who was sacked by Hull City last season despite the team narrowly missing out on the top six, is now leading Strasbourg in Ligue 1. Under his management, Strasbourg has climbed to seventh place in the standings, just six points behind second-placed Marseille. However, sources have indicated that BlueCo, the owners of Strasbourg, would not be eager to part ways with Rosenior, and Southampton may face a challenge to lure him back to England.

Sources from GIVEMESPORT also report that Southampton would need to work hard to convince Rosenior to leave Strasbourg, where he has been impressing, and return to England.
