Liverpool have not reached an agreement to sign Palmeiras midfielder Allan, despite fresh speculation linking the Reds with a summer move.
Reports in Brazil had suggested progress was being made, but according to iG Esporte and comments relayed by journalist André Hernan on ESPN Brazil, Palmeiras insist there is no deal in place with Liverpool or any other club.
Liverpool Allan transfer talks not advanced
The 21-year-old attacking midfielder is under contract with Palmeiras until 31 December 2029, a position that gives the Brazilian club considerable leverage in negotiations.
Internally, Allan is viewed as one of their most valuable assets. His development under head coach Abel Ferreira has accelerated over the past 18 months, elevating him into the senior squad as a regular contributor.
While Liverpool are among several European clubs monitoring the situation, Palmeiras maintain that discussions have not progressed to agreement stage.
Rejected bids underline Palmeiras stance
Interest in Allan is not new.
In January, Napoli reportedly submitted a package worth €35m plus €5m in add-ons, described locally as “astronomical”. That offer was rejected. Zenit Saint Petersburg had previously proposed €20m plus €5m in bonuses, which was also turned down.

Having followed South American transfer cycles closely, Palmeiras’ position suggests they are under no financial pressure to sell mid-season or below valuation.
Abel Ferreira recently addressed the broader situation after a 1-0 win over Santos.
“They are players who give us a lot of work. What makes me sad is that when they are ready, you have to sell,” he said.
“Palmeiras, at this moment, is in a position to choose when it can and cannot sell.”
