Oliver Glasner has admitted he may not remain at Crystal Palace until the end of the season, describing himself as “not good enough” amid growing pressure at Selhurst Park.
The Palace head coach made the remarks after Thursday’s 1-1 draw with Zrinjski Mostar in the first leg of their Europa Conference League play-off on 19 February 2026. Discussions over his future are reportedly ongoing.
Oliver Glasner future at Crystal Palace in doubt
Palace have won just one of their last 15 matches in all competitions. That run has left them hovering eight points above the Premier League relegation zone, while an FA Cup exit to non-league Macclesfield compounded supporter frustration.
Glasner, whose contract expires in June 2026, confirmed earlier this season that he would not be signing a new deal. That announcement came in October, with the decision made public in January on the same day Marc Guehi completed a move to Manchester City.
Asked whether he would see out his contract, Glasner responded: “Let’s see.”
“We're not in the best moment right now. I understand and take responsibility for everything, because I'm responsible for the whole team,” he said ahead of Sunday’s fixture against Wolves.
“I'm just not good enough to replace the players we sold. I'm just not good enough to integrate the new players in a way.”
Supporter unrest growing
Glasner guided Palace to FA Cup success last season and is widely regarded as one of the club’s most accomplished modern managers.
However, chants of “sacked in the morning” and “we want Glasner out” were reportedly heard during the Mostar draw.
He declined to address the criticism directly, instead thanking supporters for travelling.
“Thank you very much for your support. It’s time to get more wins.”

What’s Next
Crystal Palace host Wolves on 23 February 2026 in a fixture that could shape the immediate direction of the club.
A defeat would intensify pressure, while progression in Europe could ease the narrative. Much may depend on whether the board choose continuity through to June or accelerate change.
Will Palace stick with Glasner until summer, or is a managerial change imminent?
