Nottingham Forest head coach Nuno Espírito Santo reserved his highest praise for the travelling Reds after their 2–1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Monday night. Goals from Elliot Anderson and Chris Wood in the opening half proved decisive, despite Richarlison’s late strike for the hosts.

Speaking to Forest TV post‑match, Nuno highlighted the crucial role played by the supporters in spurring his side on:

“There’s no finer way to end a game than celebrating with our fans. Their backing drives the players to give everything, and we simply can’t thank them enough.”

“After disappointing results, it’s about how we respond. Today, we bounced back with the performance we demand—dominating without the ball and capitalizing when it mattered.”

“This is a fight nobody expected us to be in, but we’re here to compete. The players’ commitment is enormous, and every member of the squad has stepped up when called upon.”

— Nuno Espírito Santo

Forest’s win lifts them back to third in the Premier League table and cements a memorable night for the club’s travelling faithful.
