Former Fulham striker Louis Saha believes Marco Silva is still only scratching the surface of what Fulham can achieve—and insists that the club has not yet reached its full potential under the Portuguese manager.  Saha made it clear that Silva has already brought structure, stability, and ambition to Craven Cottage—but more significantly, he sees major silverware as a real possibility.

Silva, who took charge of Fulham in July 2021, led the team to the Championship title in his first season and has since consolidated their Premier League status with smart tactics, resilience, and a clear identity. Now in his fourth season at the helm, he’s the seventh longest-serving manager across England’s top four divisions—a rare show of continuity in the modern game.

For Saha, that continuity is key. He sees Silva as the architect of a Fulham side that has moved beyond mere survival and into a phase where European football—and even a domestic trophy—are achievable goals. He praised the team’s consistently competitive performances, their tactical discipline, and the belief Silva has instilled.

Fulham Under Silva: Stability with Room to Grow

Since taking charge in July 2021, Marco Silva has transformed Fulham from a yo-yo side into a Premier League mainstay. He secured promotion by winning the Championship title and has guided the Cottagers to consistent top-flight form, including an EFL Cup semi-final last season.

“Silva is the master of Fulham’s success… they can reach Europe and maybe even win trophies,” — Louis Saha

Despite recent setbacks against Chelsea, Villa, and Everton, Silva’s project remains one of the most stable in the league.

Fulham’s Progress Under Marco Silva

Season Achievement
2021/22 Championship Title & Promotion
2022/23 10th Place Premier League Finish
2023/24 EFL Cup Semi-finalist

Silva’s Legacy in the Making
Saha believes Fulham need to evolve from stylish play to winning ugly when necessary — the kind of maturity needed to turn a good team into a trophy-winning one.

  • Proven Leadership: Silva has stabilized Fulham in the Premier League.
  • Room to Grow: Louis Saha says the club hasn't reached its potential yet.
  • Muniz Blow: Injured striker could still become a 20-goal forward.
  • European Ambitions: Fulham still chasing a spot in Europe.

Missing Muniz, Eyeing the Future

Rodrigo Muniz’s Achilles injury has disrupted Fulham’s attacking threat, with the Brazilian’s eight goals proving crucial. Saha stressed that both Muniz and Raul Jiménez could become 20-goal strikers if Fulham continue building around them.

What’s Next for Fulham?

Fulham’s final games of the season could define how serious they are about European qualification—and whether Silva is backed with smarter recruitment this summer. Saha is convinced that with Marco Silva in charge, trophies aren't just dreams—they’re targets.

Do you agree with Louis Saha—can Fulham win a trophy under Silva?

it's impossible to win anything with Fulham. They dont have the spending nor do they've the pull if for example Spurs comes for the same player.
