West Ham target Manor Solomon after Tottenham exit decision

West Ham United have identified Tottenham Hotspur winger Manor Solomon as a summer transfer target after the Israel international made it clear he wants to leave the club permanently.

According to Sport 5, the Hammers are exploring a move for the 27-year-old as they look to strengthen their attacking options following the departure of Crysencio Summerville.

Solomon has returned to Tottenham after two loan spells but appears determined to secure a permanent exit before the transfer window closes.

West Ham are reportedly keen to bring Solomon to the London Stadium after selling Summerville to Al-Hilal earlier this summer.

The winger impressed during his loan spell at Leeds United in the 2024/25 Championship campaign, scoring 10 goals and providing 12 assists in 39 league appearances.

The Hammers believe he has the quality to replicate that form in the Premier League and have now emerged as one of the clubs interested in signing him.

Solomon's future was thrust into the spotlight earlier this week when his agent, Ronen Katzav, confirmed the winger is looking for a permanent move away from Tottenham.

Speaking to Sport 5, Katzav said:

"We have over a month left in the transfer window. What I will say is that the goal will be a permanent transfer, not a loan."

The winger is currently part of Tottenham's pre-season tour of Australia and New Zealand, with Roberto De Zerbi handing him starts in two friendly matches.

Despite those opportunities, his long-term future appears increasingly likely to lie away from north London.

Sport 5 reports that Fiorentina could still re-enter the race despite opting not to activate the €10 million purchase option included in Solomon's previous loan agreement.

The Israeli international has two years remaining on his Tottenham contract, leaving Spurs in a position to negotiate a permanent transfer fee this summer.

West Ham's interest comes after the two clubs already completed major business during the current transfer window, with Mateus Fernandes making the move from the Hammers to Tottenham.

Solomon's desire to leave Tottenham has alerted several clubs, with West Ham now positioning themselves as serious contenders for his signature. A permanent move would allow Spurs to reshape their squad under Roberto De Zerbi while giving Solomon the regular first-team football he is seeking.
