Manchester United have unveiled their new training kit for the 2025/26 season — and it’s missing a key detail: a sponsor. The launch confirms the end of their lucrative £24m-per-year deal with blockchain brand Tezos, leaving a notable hole in the club’s commercial portfolio.
The sponsorless kit was revealed on Tuesday, with the MEN reporting that no new agreement is in place, and none is expected in the short term.
£24m Tezos Deal Ends — and No Replacement Yet
Tezos had been United’s training kit sponsor since 2022, with branding featured on both men’s and women’s first-team gear. The agreement officially ended in June, and club sources initially suggested a replacement would follow quickly.
But the 2025/26 training kit was released with no sponsor at all, worn by the likes of Luke Shaw, Garnacho, Zirkzee, Mount and new signing Leny Yoro.
“Agreeing a new training kit sponsor as soon as possible will be important to help balance the books,” said club sources.
There’s no indication yet of when a new deal will be signed — or how much it might be worth.
Marriott International Also Ends Deal
United have also lost another long-term partner. Marriott International, who have sponsored the club since 2019, chose not to renew their deal this summer. That means two high-value sponsorships have now expired within weeks.
The hotel giant cited cost-cutting measures as the reason for the exit. United, meanwhile, say they are “proud” of the partnership and remain confident in their commercial strength.
Analyst Verdict
This is not the type of news United wanted in a pre-season focused on renewal and rebuild. Losing both Tezos and Marriott in the same window creates a commercial gap that must be filled — especially with Financial Fair Play limits tightening.

What’s Next for United?
