Burnley forward Luca Koleosho has admitted he would “jump” at the chance to move to AC Milan one day, openly speaking about his long-standing admiration for the Italian giants.

The 21-year-old is currently spending the second half of the season on loan at Paris FC, where his form has improved after a difficult spell at Burnley.

And while his immediate future remains unclear, his long-term ambition now looks much clearer.

Italy is firmly on his radar.

Luca Koleosho reveals AC Milan dream

Speaking to MilanNews, Koleosho did not hide his connection to Milan.

The Burnley winger spoke openly about growing up watching some of the club’s biggest names, including football icons who shaped his early years as a fan.

Among them were Ronaldo Nazário, Ronaldinho, Alexandre Pato and Mario Balotelli.
Balotelli, in particular, stood out for him.

“I’ve always supported AC Milan. They’re my favourite club in Serie A. If I had the opportunity to go to Italy, I’d jump at it.” — Luca Koleosho, via MilanNews

That is as direct as it gets.

For a player still trying to establish himself, it offers a clear look into where he sees his future.

Rafael Leão inspiration shaping Koleosho’s game

Koleosho also spoke about Rafael Leão, admitting the Portugal international has become one of his biggest inspirations.

The Burnley player revealed he studies Leão’s game closely, regularly watching clips and highlights to improve his own attacking play.

That makes sense. Both players share similar qualities in wide areas, relying on pace, dribbling and directness to create problems.

Leão’s rise at Milan is clearly a path Koleosho admires and when asked if he would like to succeed him one day, his answer left little room for doubt. He would welcome it.

Loan spell at Paris FC helping his development

Right now, though, Koleosho’s focus remains on France.

His January move to Paris FC has given him regular football and a platform to rebuild confidence after struggling for rhythm at Burnley.

His numbers are improving.

The contrast is noticeable.

Based on recent performances, the loan move appears to have given him exactly what he needed: minutes, rhythm and less pressure. That matters for young attackers.
