Leeds United Bissouma transfer 2025 rumours are heating up, with Spurs midfielder Yves Bissouma reportedly on the Whites' radar in what could be their most significant deal since Raphinha. As the summer window opens, Daniel Farke's newly promoted side is plotting a survival strategy—and Bissouma may be the centrepiece.

After clinching Europa League glory with Tottenham, the Mali international could now swap North London for West Yorkshire. With journalist Ben Jacobs reporting that Leeds are “one to watch,” a £35m deal is on the table—pending finances and wages. “He wants to stay in the Premier League. I'm told Leeds are another one to watch.” — Ben Jacobs, GIVEMESPORT

Why Bissouma Could Be Leeds’ Best Signing Since Raphinha

Raphinha’s flair helped Leeds stay afloat in the top tier—and the club hasn’t managed survival since his 2022 departure. Bissouma brings a different profile but the same potential impact: a midfield engine who thrives in high-pressure defensive duties.

“The best DM in the Premier League.” — Antonio Mango on Bissouma, 2021

How Bissouma Compares: Defensive Masterclass

Match Stat Value
Tackles & Interceptions (Brighton) 4.7–4.8 per game
Leeds Best (2023/24) 3.5 per game
Bissouma Pass Accuracy 87–89%
Weekly Wage £55,000

Key Reasons to Sign Bissouma

  • Leeds United Bissouma transfer 2025 could reshape midfield
  • Spurs midfielder brings proven Premier League pedigree
  • Farke needs defensive midfield steel for top-flight survival
  • No Leeds player matched his ball-winning stats in 2023/24
  • Wage demands fit within current structure (e.g., Bamford on £70k)

Can Farke Get This Over the Line?

Yves Bissouma's arrival would offer leadership, Premier League grit, and invaluable defensive cover. His style fits Farke’s 4-2-3-1 system and could become the spine of a survival push.

With his peak years still ahead and a clear hunger to stay in England, Leeds may have a narrow window to secure one of their most impactful Premier League signings yet.

What's Next for Leeds?

With the transfer window wide open, Leeds will be evaluating other Premier League-level reinforcements—but none may match the potential impact of Yves Bissouma. If Farke’s side pulls this off, it could echo the Raphinha deal that kept the Whites dreaming.

I remember this lad having a season at Brighton! He was the next thing, dont know what happened, but it should be still in him. Would be great for Leeds to get him and maybe Solomon as well.
