Leeds United have gained clarity on Manor Solomon’s stance regarding a permanent move from Tottenham Hotspur, as speculation builds around the winger’s future.
Solomon, who joined Leeds on loan for the season, has enjoyed an impactful campaign under Daniel Farke, registering eight goals and ten assists in 37 appearances across all competitions. Most recently, he was instrumental in a 2-1 victory over Preston North End, where he both scored and assisted, helping keep Leeds at the top of the Championship on goal difference with just four matches left.
Although the club has yet to officially decide on pursuing a permanent transfer, the winger is due to return to Spurs at the end of the season unless an agreement is reached. Reports suggest that any deal could hinge on whether Leeds secure promotion to the Premier League.
According to football.london, the 25-year-old would be open to staying at Elland Road permanently — but only if the club earns promotion. The report states that Solomon has enjoyed his time in West Yorkshire, both on and off the pitch, and would be keen to extend his stay should top-flight football be on offer next season.
However, Leeds could face competition. Spurs are reportedly anticipating interest from other Premier League sides during the summer transfer window. There’s also potential for overseas clubs to enter the race, putting Solomon in a position where he’ll have multiple offers to consider once the window opens.
Adding another layer of uncertainty is Ange Postecoglou’s managerial future at Tottenham. The report highlights that a change in head coach could prompt a reassessment of players currently out on loan, including Solomon. A new manager may want to evaluate him in pre-season before making any final decisions regarding his future at the club.
Solomon previously spoke with The Athletic about how settled he feels at Leeds, expressing a genuine fondness for the club and its supporters:
“I love it here. I love the fans. I love the club. I love the players, the manager. Especially now, I’m really enjoying it and I love living here. Of course, it’s different to London, fewer things to do and we have fewer friends here. All the Israelis live in London, but we’ve found our place here.”
For now, Leeds remain focused on finishing the season strongly — with promotion hopes high and the prospect of keeping Solomon hanging in the balance.

Good player. Would be great for both of them if they could continu. He's not going to make any minutes for Spurs if he chose to go back.
