Jadon Sancho is now open to joining Juventus in a deal that could reshape his career — and Manchester United’s summer window.
The England winger has reportedly softened his wage demands, removing a major obstacle to a potential move to Serie A. With Juventus long-term admirers, this could be the breakthrough both clubs were waiting for.
Juventus Eye Smart Deal as Sancho Lowers Demands
Sancho’s £300,000-a-week wages were a stumbling block for months. But fresh reports in Italy suggest the 24-year-old is now willing to take a substantial pay cut to join Juventus — motivated by the chance to revive his career and return to England’s Euro 2026 plans.
United are open to a permanent sale or loan with obligation, as Amorim has no plans to reintegrate Sancho into the squad.
“Sancho knows this is the right moment for a reset. Juventus is a serious option.”
A New Start in Serie A?
The Bianconeri believe Sancho could thrive in Italy, with Igor Tudor keen to use him as a right-sided attacker in his 4-3-3.
This wouldn’t be the first time Juve have backed a struggling Premier League talent to bounce back — think Adrien Rabiot and Paul Pogba.
Sancho’s 2024-25 Stats (on loan at Dortmund):
Match Stat | Value |
---|---|
Appearances | 21 |
Goals | 3 |
Assists | 4 |
Key Passes per 90 | 2.1 |
Analyst Verdict
If Juventus can land Sancho on reduced wages, this could prove a masterstroke. He still has the talent, but needs a manager who backs him fully and a league with more tactical space. Serie A could offer both.
