Jack Harrison Leeds transfer 2025 rumours are heating up after the winger returned to pre-season training — but with no clear role in Daniel Farke’s plans.
After two loan spells at Everton, the 28-year-old is back at Thorp Arch, but a Goodison Park return looks unlikely. And with a contract running until 2028, Leeds must now decide whether to offload him permanently or via another loan.
“That Bridge Has Been Burnt” – Robinson
Former Leeds and England goalkeeper Paul Robinson believes Harrison’s time at the club is coming to an end — regardless of contract length.
“I don’t think he’s got a future at Leeds. That bridge has been burnt by the manager and the player,” Robinson told Football Insider.
“If you asked both honestly, they’d happily part ways — either loan or permanent.”
Robinson also noted Farke’s tendency to clear out characters he doesn’t fully back — pointing to previous dressing room exits. Harrison, he suggests, no longer fits the manager’s plans.
What Would a Move Look Like?
Leeds paid £10 million for Harrison in 2021 when they signed him permanently from Manchester City. Robinson admits they’re unlikely to recoup that fee — but a loan-to-buy deal or cut-price move could be on the table.
With wages, age, and Championship realities to consider, suitors may prefer a loan — especially as Harrison showed glimpses of quality during his Premier League spells at Everton.

Analyst Verdict
Despite being a consistent performer during his Premier League peak, Harrison no longer fits the Farke mould. With contract length working in Leeds’ favour, the club can be patient — but expect movement before the deadline. Whether it's a loan, sale, or mutual split, a clean break now feels inevitable.

He was very good under Bielsa, never reached that form again. So unfortunate because he gives everything on the field, I mean back then he was now. I havent followed him at Everton tbh.
