Harry Wilson says he is “feeling really good” after continuing his outstanding run of form in Fulham’s dramatic 3–2 win at Burnley — the club’s first victory at Turf Moor in almost 75 years. The Wales international produced two assists and a trademark left-footed finish, taking his tally to six goal contributions in his last four matches, and further cementing his importance to Marco Silva’s attacking structure.

Wilson set up Emile Smith Rowe and Calvin Bassey to help Fulham before half-time, then struck in the second half after an excellent team move that swept the length of the pitch. Reflecting on the performance, Wilson was quick to credit the patterns worked on in training.

“I feel really good at the minute,” he said. “As an attacking player, it’s always good when your numbers are good. The first assist was something we’d worked on. And the goal — once it came across the box — it was all about composing myself and finding that far corner.”

It continues a run of spectacular finishes, including his curled effort against Tottenham Hotspur in Fulham’s previous away fixture. As Wilson noted, back-to-back away wins mark a significant improvement in Fulham’s form on the road.

Wilson: “We wanted to back it up after Spurs”

While Fulham were encouraged by performances at Craven Cottage despite mixed results, Wilson said the squad were determined to deliver another strong away performance.

“After the Spurs game, we wanted to back it up,” he said. “It was massive to come here and get the win. Improving our away form has been something we’ve talked about.”

Fulham began the season with an opening-day point at Brighton but struggled in later away fixtures. Consecutive wins now represent a turning point — and Wilson has been central to that shift.

The numbers underline Wilson’s influence as both a creator and finisher. His efficiency — two shots, both on target, both leading to decisive moments — reflects his peak confidence. His three chances created further demonstrate the dual-threat role Silva relies upon.

Fulham were right to keep Wilson — and he’s proving it every week

Fulham came close to losing Wilson in the summer, with promoted Leeds United making a concerted push to sign him. The transfer only collapsed because Fulham failed to secure a replacement in time. In hindsight, that near-miss has arguably shaped their season.

Having watched Wilson closely in recent weeks, it’s clear he offers something Fulham cannot easily replicate: intelligent movement, a devastating left foot, and the ability to combine efficiently with Smith Rowe, Chukwueze and Robinson. Although some questioned whether he would maintain consistency, his form shows a player enjoying freedom and responsibility simultaneously — a rare blend for a wide forward.

It’s also worth noting how his leadership has quietly grown. Wilson has become a reference point during transitions and a key figure in Silva’s pressing scheme, areas he was once criticised for. His evolution reflects coaching trust and a player responding to it fully.
