Fulham are leading the race to sign Inter Milan striker Mehdi Taremi, with negotiations now at an advanced stage.
According to Inter News, Fulham are the front-runners to land the 31-year-old Iranian forward, who could leave Serie A without a transfer fee. Taremi’s departure is said to be “increasingly concrete” as he prepares to return to Italy following travel delays linked to the regional conflict in Iran.
The Whites are pushing hard and could finalise the move within days.
Taremi Deal Could Be Completed Within Days
The situation has moved quickly. Inter are open to releasing Taremi for free in order to cut wage costs and create space in their attack. The striker was not involved in the Club World Cup and is expected to return to Italy shortly.
Fulham have taken advantage of the uncertainty to steal a march on other suitors.

Taremi joined Inter from Porto in January but never truly settled. The arrival of new coach Thiago Motta means a shift in attacking structure — one that may no longer include the Iranian.
Where Would Taremi Fit at Fulham?
Taremi would offer Fulham a much-needed focal point up front following Aleksandar Mitrović’s exit. His movement, physicality and finishing could provide the missing piece in Marco Silva’s system — particularly given Raul Jimenez's struggles for consistency.
