Bruno Fernandes has once again made his stance clear — he’s staying at Manchester United.

After turning down a lucrative offer from Al-Hilal in May, the Portugal international has now also rejected a fresh approach from Al-Nassr, according to O Jogo. Despite serious financial incentives and interest from former teammates and compatriots, Fernandes is committed to continuing his Premier League career under new manager Ruben Amorim.

Al-Nassr Tried to Lure Fernandes with Familiar Faces

Saudi Arabian giants Al-Nassr, led by Jorge Jesus and captained by Cristiano Ronaldo, had hoped to reunite Fernandes with two of his most high-profile Portuguese compatriots. The club had already signed João Félix, and saw Fernandes as the final piece in their creative midfield.

But the 30-year-old has firmly rejected the move, just as he did with Al-Hilal earlier this summer. Sources suggest Fernandes remains focused on leading Manchester United, especially after being convinced to stay by Amorim and his family in recent months.

“Bruno Fernandes has decided to remain at Old Trafford and is not considering a move to Saudi Arabia this summer.” — O Jogo (Portugal)

Fernandes Committed to Old Trafford

Fernandes still has two years remaining on his Manchester United contract, with the club also holding an option to extend for an additional year. He is one of the club’s highest earners and remains a core part of Amorim’s rebuild, following United’s disappointing 15th-place finish last season.

Despite persistent rumours of interest from abroad, Fernandes has maintained a strong public connection to United and was vocal earlier this summer about wanting to help lead the next phase at the club.

Analyst Verdict: Fernandes Still the Centrepiece of United’s Rebuild

Bruno Fernandes’ decision to reject Saudi riches — twice — is a huge boost for Manchester United, who are looking for leaders in a turbulent post-Ten Hag era.

Under Ruben Amorim, Fernandes is expected to retain the armband and operate as a creative hub in a new-look midfield. His loyalty and professionalism offer stability as United attempt to climb back into European contention.
