Bournemouth star Justin Kluivert has hailed the ambition being shown by the ownership group led by Bill Foley and revealed how they convinced him to move to the club.

Tijdschrift provided a full interview with the forward today recently given to ELF Voetbal in which he is full of praise for the club’s ownership.

Bournemouth are currently on an accelerated growth plan under Foley and his team, who took over at the club just before the turn of 2023.

They’ve since pushed forward with their plans for the club, hiring Andoni Iraola, who currently has them 9th and three points outside of the top six, and plans are in place to build a new 25,000-seater stadium to accommodate a growing fanbase.

The future looks bright for the Cherries and Kluivert is certainly impressed by the ambition being shown.

“It’s great to see how ambitious the club is,” he said.

“How they know how to develop everything. The owner wants us to win European football this season, preferably Champions League. This is also reflected in the purchases that the boss did last summer. And the plans that are on the table.”

The South Coast has proven to be a real proving ground for Kluivert, who has finally settled at the club after years bouncing around Europe.
