Bournemouth will look to make history on Monday night when they host Fulham at the Vitality Stadium in a pivotal Premier League fixture that could reignite their hopes of European qualification.
Sitting 10th in the table, the Cherries have struggled for form in recent weeks, taking just two points from their last six league matches. Their most recent result, a 2-2 draw against West Ham, featured a brace from Evanilson to salvage a valuable point.
Despite the slump, Bournemouth can close the gap to seventh to just six points with a win, keeping their hopes of European football alive heading into the final stretch of the campaign.

Bournemouth Looking to End 94-Year Drought Against Fulham
Victory on Monday would see Bournemouth record three consecutive home league wins over Fulham for the first time since 1931. The Cherries won 2-1 against the Cottagers in April 2023 and followed it up with a 3-0 triumph in December.
Achieving that milestone would mark a rare moment in club history, but recent home performances raise concerns.

Home Struggles Continue
Bournemouth have lost four successive home league matches — against Liverpool, Wolves, Brentford, and Ipswich Town. One more defeat would mark the club’s worst home league run since 2005.
With European football still mathematically possible, manager Andoni Iraola will be eager for his side to bounce back in front of their supporters.

Team News: Kluivert a Doubt, Christie Out for the Season
Injuries remain a key concern. Justin Kluivert, who has been one of Bournemouth’s most productive players this season with 13 goals and eight assists in all competitions, remains doubtful after missing the last two games. A final decision on his availability will be made closer to kickoff.
Luis Sinisterra and Marcus Tavernier are also facing fitness tests ahead of the Fulham clash.
Meanwhile, Ryan Christie has been ruled out for the rest of the season due to an ongoing injury that requires surgery. Enes Unal is also a long-term absentee after suffering an ACL injury in January.

What’s at Stake
This match offers Bournemouth the chance to keep their European dreams alive while writing a small piece of club history. A win would close the gap on the top seven and restore belief in a squad that showed significant progress earlier in the season.
Failure to collect three points, however, could all but end their continental hopes and extend their worrying home form at a crucial point in the campaign.
