A carefully chosen January loan could accelerate that process and allow Nwaneri to return sharper and more complete. Equally, keeping him without providing minutes risks stagnation, something Arsenal have been keen to avoid with their next generation.

This situation is not viewed as impatience from the player or a loss of faith from the club. Instead, it reflects aligned interests, with Arsenal and Nwaneri assessing the best path forward.
